The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Technical University of Crete invites applications and expressions of interest for multiple faculty positions in 2026 and 2027.
The School offers high-level research and teaching, including an active international student exchange program, with emphasis on five key areas: Automatic Control Systems, Computer Science, Electric Energy Systems, Electronics and Computer Architecture, and Telecommunications. The School has demonstrated continuous improvement in academic quality due to the unwavering efforts of the faculty, staff, and students. Most faculty members have earned their degrees from leading international universities and several have previously served as tenure-track or tenured faculty members abroad before joining the School.
Within the past three years, the School has been awarded two European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grants and is currently the only engineering department in Greece running two active ERC projects in parallel. Annual external research funding is approximately twice the annual state funding. Many graduates hold faculty or research positions at leading US and European institutions, while others have founded technology startups or pursue professional engineering careers internationally.
