2025 ECE Summer School on Data Analysis
On July 7-9, 2025, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of the Technical University of Crete (TUC) will host the “2025 ECE TUC Summer School on Data Analysis.”
The Summer School consists of three main components:
- A crash-course on "Neural Network Compression" will be taught by Alexios Balatsoukas-Stimming (7, 8, 9 July, 10:00-13:00)
- Research presentations will be delivered by Kyriaki Kalimeri (7 July, 15:00-16:30) and Dimitrios Papailiopoulos (8 July, 15:00,16:30))
- A “Round Table discussion on Academic and Research topics" (9 July, 15:00-15¨30) will complement the crash course and the research presentations.
The main objectives of the Summer School are (1) to increase the visibility of ECE TUC, (2) to create and strengthen ties between ECE TUC and top universities worldwide, and (3) to cultivate a collegial culture among current and former ECE TUC members, worldwide.
The event will be open to all members of the TUC community (students, research associates, faculty members). If you plan to attend the crash course, please fill out the "registration form".
Location
All talks will be held in building Γ2 at the university campus.
There will also be a crash-course in Neural Network Compression. The course will be held at the university campus, too. The exact location will be announced.
