Title: "Artificial Intelligence and its Impact to Humanity: Immortality or Last Invention”
Abstract: In the last two decades two major scientific events has significantly impacted the Academic and Industrial evolution. The first event is the wide acceptance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Applications domain. The second is the increased computational power of IT tools (Data Mining, Big Data) with application to very large scale demands. As a result of this evolution, complex AI software and Intelligent Robots have made their appearance, by triggering the interest and the concerns of the Scientific Community and the Society at large.
In this talk, the speaker will present his views on the Artificial Intelligence evolution and its Impact to Humanity. In particular, he will address issues related to scientific and ethical issues regarding Immortality or Last Invention.
