Faculty Positions in Electrical and Computer Engineering, School of ECE, Technical University of Crete, Greece

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Technical University of Crete, Greece, will hire tenure-track assistant professors during the next academic year. We are interested in applicants with research interests in all areas of electrical and computer engineering. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a closely related field and are expected to initiate and carry out independent research and teach in Greek at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers high-level research and teaching with emphasis on five key areas: Computer Science, Electric Power, Electronics and Computer Architecture, Systems, and Telecommunications. The School has demonstrated continuous improvement in academic quality due to the unwavering efforts of the faculty, staff, and students. Most of the faculty members have earned their degrees from top international universities and many have pursued careers as tenure-track or tenured faculty members abroad before joining the faculty of the School. Many students who have graduated with M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees from the School of ECE currently hold faculty or research positions at top US and European institutions. Others have founded and run technology startups or work as professional engineers in the USA, as well as Greece and other European countries.
