Short CV: Georgios Chalkiadakis joined TUC in March 2011. Before coming to TUC, he was a Research Fellow at the School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, UK, from December 2006 to January 2011. Georgios received his PhD from the University of Toronto, Canada, in 2007. His PhD thesis was a nominee for the IFAAMAS Victor Lesser Distinguished Dissertation Award (2007). Georgios has also worked as a software engineer at the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas, and as a teacher of informatics in Greek high schools.
