ECE School Professor Dimitris Angelakis was appointed in May 2025 as Director of the Institute of Quantum Computing and Quantum Technology of the National Center for Scientific Research Demokritos (NCSR Demokritos) in Athens, Greece.
During his term, which will end in May 2029, he will also serve as a member of the Board of Directors of NCSR Demokritos.
Prof. Angelakis will continue to serve and teach courses at the School of ECE, Technical University of Crete, as a part-time Professor during the period May 2025 - May 2029, in parallel with his new full-time position at NCSR Demokritos.
