 ea032f118157ec92a\nAbstract\n We wil
l first describe briefly the key ten
 ets of Distributed Beamforming (DBF)
, a concept familiar to the research
community for over 20 years, which
 generalizes co-located antenna array
s to the distributed wireless paradi
gm. Then we focus on a particular ap
 proach, namely “Channel-Reciprocity-
Based” (CRB) DBF, a version that uti
lizes digital signal processing to e
mulate the original concept of conju
 gating mirrors from optical physics.
We will present a basic Lemma which
specifies the main condition that a
ll variants of CRB-DBF must satisfy.
  Subsequently we describe one specif
ic variant which utilizes the CRB pr
 inciple twice, once for local-cluste
r calibration and once for remote (d
 estination) coherence. This patented
  solution is robust, efficient, prac
tical and has been recently producti
zed. We will conclude with implement
 ational and research challenges such
  as network scaling, nodal dynamics,
  and high-accuracy phase-time-freque
 ncy synchronization in uncertain env
 ironments.\n  \n \n About the Speake
 r\n Andreas Polydoros, Ph.D., served
in academia for over 45 years (Univ
 ersity of Southern California, Natio
nal and Kapodistrian University of A
thens). In parallel, he pioneered th
 e co-founding of TrellisWare Technol
ogies in San Diego, CA, (in the year
2000), where he has served as Chair
of the Technical Advisory Board and
 , subsequently, as a full-time emplo
yee since 2022. His research has bee
n on wireless communication links an
 d networks in uncertain environments
, drawing from theoretical tools in
 random processes, decision theory an
d digital signal processing. He has
been a Fullbright scholar, an IEEE F
ellow (1995), an ISI Highly Cited Re
searcher and the recipient of the 20
22 Technical Achievement Award of th
 e IEEE MILCOM Conference.\n
